Is there a pouch for my SwissChamp?

I´ve purchased a SwissChamp but there was no pouch to it. Should there be one?

No, but Victorinox does sell leather pouches as an aftermarket item.

OK, thx. You don´t happen to know what kind of stuff it´s made of. Leather or high tech? I believe that a leather one does not match the kind of "modern" look of the Champ.

Victorinox does make pouches that fit the Champ, cordura ones. I got mine from MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-Op) and I'm sure they ship to the US. At the current exchange rate it'll probably only cost you a couple of bucks. 1-800-847-0770. Hope that helps.

Uhm, so there is leather as well....

Yes - mine came with one that included several survival-type items - sharpening stone, safety pins, paper, band-aids, reflecting mirror, compass, etc. It is called the Champ Survival Kit. The pouch is black and very well built.

Surely you could order just the pouch.

The leather sheath pictured here is like the one Codeman has, only this one is smaller with fewer items. It has a mini maglight and the compass combo feature.
The other here is the nylon version. These pics might help you to deceide which you like best.
