As the Cold Steel Tuff Lite ?
If not I guess I will buy a custom, or get the production while waiting for the custom.

I just came across the Viper Berus 2, sorry I don't know how to post pics.

The blade shape and the sheath are my only dislike. But it seems practical at around $140.00

I'd second David Mary David Mary . I picked up a riverhawk about a week ago and it's excellent. Very well made and the grinds are better than a lot of my production knives. It's now part of my non rotating EDC. 3" blade 4" handle. Perfect size for horizontal carry. I know the tuff lite is shorter but I'd just reach out to him and talk about what your after.

I like the Little Bugger and was unaware of it. Thanks for the recommendation !

I may like the Berus a tad more.

For those that missed the title.
I am looking for a Fixed Blade.

What does your Horizontal system look like ? A pic plz. And who makes it.

The longer handle on the berus, 4mm blade, and m390. Seems a more versatile blade over the tops. I've come to the conclusion I'd rather sacrifice blade length if that means I can get a full grip on a knife I plan to use a lot. If that knife needs to be a certain length. For me I wanted no more than 7.5" for my horizontal carry. I wasted a lot of money finding mine. The berus 2 I'd add to my collection.

For now I'm using the sheath the riverhawk came with and just made some silicone straps for it. the rear strap is tight. The front strap has the hardware about a mm long so it moves freely. It gives a little play in it for when I have to bend funny at work. Full disclosure I'll probably build a new sheath for it when I can get access to all my kydex equipment (snow load prevents it right now.) I'll end up making one with the body side of the sheath being a little longer and ramped more for resheathing under less than ideal situations. But as is this setup has been perfect. As a mechanic I've found many blades to get in the way at one time or another also worth noting is the thickness is spot on. I've found a few knives I've liked but the handles have been to thick or they are sticky and the coat hangs up. And a final bonus these are in stock. 20221222_071640.jpg

So I ordered a stone washed blade, black Micarta Berus 😁 . I also ordered I mini Tek Lok which DCA says works as a belt sheath attachment.

There still may be a custom order placed. But 1st gonna test to see how I like fixed blade edc.

Pretty sure imma love it ! Altho I would like a leather sheath option.
