Found one on sale. Brande new Spyderco #827? There is the entire word Spyderco on the blade....small little spider logo in front of the S.

On other side on blade, the number 827 is print. Anyone know?

Spyderco model numbers it don't go up that high and they also haven't numbered a knife past 200 since using the bug logo on the blade.

The entire first production run of quite a few early models, especially collaborations with knifemakers, were numbered, so the 827 simply means it was part of a run of at least that many, and almost certainly more. However, I can't honestly recall any model that would have both a Spyderco bug logo on the blade and such a number. The other possibility is that you're mistaking a 0 for an 8 and the number is 027, which would be a Spyderco collectors club number which might appear on a newer model with the bug logo on the blade. However, either way, in all cases I can think of the number was on the left side of the blade. Final possibility is that the number was added aftermarket. Pictures would definitely help.

Hard to say without seeing pictures, but it sounds fishy to me. Spyderco used to number collaborations, but they stopped doing that many years ago. Those are the only ones that I know of that would have a number over 200, and there certainly isn't a model number that high.
