Ya know to help poor schlubs like me learn about all the different styles, patterns, and terminology that goes into traditionals? Like what makes a Barlow a Barlow? Or a swayback or a jack.....the list goes on. If there isn't a central easy accessible source of info, I think there ought to be one.

If one existed here it would be pretty sizable, and difficult to categorize and maintain. I find using the "Search Forum" function helps me find most of my answers in Traditionals.
Chances are if the question has been raised, it's also been answered right here. Good hunting!

I find a FAQ page just doesn't fit well with traditional knives. To really understand and value them I think it is important. To read their stories and get a more understanding of the past on which they come. I find they are better appreciated by word of mouth so to speak. To get a good start I suggest reading the jackknife tales stickies to this page. Good luck in your journey :)
