Picked up a Buckcote Crosslock Solitare the other day, partially serrated that appears to still have the factory edge. Been wanting to try a Buckote model as well as a chisel grind so this seemed like a good deal especially for $25.00.
Anyway it feels sharp but I can't seem to cut diddly squat with it. I'm right handed and I guess it's the chisel grind cause unless I change hands even slicing paper is awkward and the result is poor. Is this just the nature of the beast? Am I wrong in expecting this to cut like all my other blades with a bevel on both sides? TIA
