Is there a typical wait time for new orders?

Heya folks! So, long story short - I was in the market for a new fixed blade EDC, stumbled upon these here forums, and before I knew it I somehow ended up ordering my very first Busse! I called about 3 weeks ago to order the Anniversary Mean Street, and I'm incredibly excited for it to arrive, especially after reading what others have posted about it and seeing all the awesome pictures that go along with it. As such, I'm being horribly impatient and constantly checking my inbox for a shipping notification, haha. Anywho, I suppose my question would be if there's some sort of typical or "standard" wait time for phoned-in orders? I honestly don't know much about the company as a whole, since this is my first dealing, but I've poked around the forums here and everyone certainly seems happy with them, and I'm definitely looking forward to experiencing the knife for myself. :)

Edit: I apologize if this has been covered before. I'm rather new to the forum, so I'm still learning how to find my way around. :o

First, welcome to the madness, your going to love the AMS. Wait time can very, but safe to say 8-12 weeks.

Normal production time is approx 4-14 weeks. Most of the time your order will be finished in 4-10 weeks but there are times where we have military orders that take priority. Civilian orders will be temporarily put on hold until the military order has been filled. If you have any questions about your order and where it is in production, feel free to give us a call and we will check it out for you! :thumbup:

Thank you for the replies, folks. I'm sure you've all answered this question a lot already, and I apologize for bugging y'all. Just excited is all. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning!
