Is there a way to adjust button lock detent?

I picked up a We Knives Mini Malice this week. It seems like an excellent knife in all respects except that it suffers from flipper fail. The detent doesn't seem strong enough for the blade to consistently flip all the way open. I have to flip it open upside down or snap my wrist to give the blade the momentum it already should have with the right detent.

I've adjusted liner locks and frame locks before to fix a weak detent, but never button locks. Do any of you have any tips on how to adjust? I'd rather not have to send the knife back if it's an easy fix.
