Is there a way to convert a LP forge to NG or vise versa?

The Worcested Center for crafts where I teach a knife making class is looking to buy a forge. A friend of mine has a pedistal forge that came out of an old school for sale. We are not sure if it is NG or LP fueled. I would think that it was NG because the school was probally piped for that in the chemistry labs? So my question is can you convert a forge from natural gas to propane or vise versa?
Any help on the subject would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck

As far as I know, all that needs to be done is change the orifice. Maybe George can help more.

By Golly!!! Peter is correct. On my forges, I run a 1/4 npt with a cap on the end with a 1/8" hole drilled in the center. If I was running NG I would take the cap off, because NG has less pressure. Is it a venturi or blower??? Venturi may be a little different.
