hello, i'm jay and it's been over a week since i bought my last becker knife and i'm itching to buy another one. help! :o
i can hear bushman's chant now...tweener! tweener! tweener! :p

that MIGHT be me you hear chanting that also

Or, come to think about it, it might be me.:D

Why on earth would you want to enter a twelve step program, when you know that new Beckers are just around the corner? Doesn't make sense to me. Feed that addiction — buy more Beckers!

Well, I can see overcoming some addictions — things like playing in traffic at rush hour, kissing angry rattlesnakes for amusement, dating bad women (okay, the last one may be alright, depending on the circumstances) — you know, things that could actually be bad for you.

But there are other addictions that we just shouldn't have to give up; eating, playing with puppies, dating good women, breathing (I'm very fond of breathing, and I don't want to give it up — call me selfish, if you will), Becker knives. Wait...Becker knives? Yep. I count them as a must have addiction. Not as important as breathing, of which I'm very fond (but I already said that, didn't I?), but still very important.

A man has to have some good things in his old age, so I'm not giving up my addiction to Beckers... or breathing.

"Hi, my name is Bobby, and I'm a Beckerholic... and proud of it."

true. i don't smoke or gamble and at 31 i'm done chasing skirt and now looking for a keeper.

...although i succumb once in awhile like this one chilly night plus a few friends with bourbon and next thing i know my bk2 starts whispering ideas in my head. next thing i know i'm batoning every 4x4 i could get my hands on and having an urban camp fire. hehehe.

Hey, woody. If you click on "Go Advanced" at the bottom of the window that comes up when you want to reply to a post, you'll get more options. The options come up automatically when you're quoting a post.

Once you have that, then look at the top of the window and you'll see options for bold, italics, underline, etc., as well as others. Way up on the top of the window you should see something that says "Sizes."

What I did in the post you're referring to was to type the word "TWEENERS," then highlight it, then click on the B for bold symbol at the top, then go to Sizes and choose size 7, the largest available.

You won't actually see these changes in your window, but you will see the code for them surround what you've typed. When you hit the Submit Reply button at the bottom of the window, they'll show up in your actual post.

Hope that helps.

i'm sure there's a way to edit posts with the smallest font too ;)

There is treatment, but the treatment is as bad as the disease :)

Go to the 1911 forum or the M1 Garand forums and you will forget knives for a while. But you'll come full circle and be back.

In fact, I think this is my 5th time back.

Give me strength!

funny you mention that. i went from knives to cars to fish to handguns to snakes/tarantulas/scorpions to ar-15s...and now i'm back to knives! sprinkled in between are my scotch/whisky/bourbon experimentations until i settled onto maker's mark as my drink of choice. some pics:
