Is there an Axis Lock knife with a flowthrough design?

Hi all,

Looking to buy a new BM knife for EDC to replace a 556 Mini-Grip.

Basically, all I'd like is a Mini-Grip, except with a flowthrough design. Loved my 556, but sometimes I wanted to clean it out more thoroughly.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

By flow through do you mean barrel spacers instead of a solid plastic back piece?

Thanks for the replies.

That 300 looks awesome. I think it's going on the wishlist.

scsu74, essentially yes, but I'm hoping for a knife that comes that way from the factory.

the 551-1304 comes with barrel spacers. You may want to call benchmade and see if they can install them at the factory. I recently sent in my 710 to have barrel spacers installed, they will do it free of charge. Worth a phone call

710 M4, Knifeworks exclusive. Not very similar to a Mini-Grip, but might as well mention it.

I was thinking of this the other day when I was looking at my Minigrip. I thought it may look kind of neat if a person with skill would mill out the indentation part of the back spacer. This would give it some flow though without giving away strength I would imagine. It would sort of end up looking like jack 'o lantern teeth. Or it could end up looking dang awful.

Would one of you guys do this to your knife so I can see how it looks? :) :)

Joe
