Is there an orange para

I had a para once and traded it off to another member here. Well I have missed the all black para that became my EDC for a few months. A while back I posted a quick review of how well it held up to my use and posted pics. You might be able to find it if you search. I think it was back in fall of2006.

I remeber reading the Spydie forum and there was talk of a new para with all 4 positions for the clip and maybe a few other changes but I do not recall those if any. This was one reason I traded off my first para. I waited for a while, but I never heard anything about the new paras and I just forgot untill a few months ago.

Any way I have really liked the looks of the orange millie and hoped they made the para in orange. I noticed someone placed a black blade in the orange G-10 frame and I think I felt a want for a knife that I have not had in a while. It has been some time, but every since seeing the orange and black millie I have wanted something orange with a black blade. I think I could be happy if they only came with a non-coated blade.

I do think there is a camo para, please correct me if I am wrong.

The new para has been mentioned, but so far, it's just talk.

I am normally a fan of tip up, but I will say that tip down on the para works well for me. No complaints there, just let me get one in orange.
 
Just bought the Foliage Green Para. Love the knife but would MUCH rather had an orange one.

The orange Military is sweet but just too big for my uses.

I understand the costs involved with such a thing but please bring out the orange Para...and watch it fly off the shelves.:D

*while you're at it...orange up the Manix 2 also. LOL
 
Can't be that costly, just a matter of dumping some orange G10 in the CNC mill instead of black/digicam/fg ?
 
Eric has a Paramilitary refinement design with a 4 way clip. The design is still in engineering.

Right now we've got a lot of irons in the fire and we have no immediate plans for an orange paramilitary. We've discused it, but no decisions.

It's just great that a company even listens to the voice of the buying public and participates and answers questions as needed.

Gotta admit I was slow coming to understanding the Spyderco mojo. while I knew the blades were great I just didnt like the handles and pivots on the Delicas and Enduras and such, and I thought alot of the other offerings were pretty funky looking.

But then the Military came out...and now I love my newest Spydercos. The Para-Military and Tenacious.

A Manix II and Sage II will probably be the next additions to join the P-M and the Tenacious.

Anyways...I just appreciate the products that Sal and Spyderco produce and the involvement they share with their fan base.
