Is there any comparison?

I'm trying to find a fiddleback.

What would be the model that most closely resembles a Mora? My first EVER knife happened to be a Mora, and it has been, and will continue to be used plenty.

I just figured, "why not go with something that resembles the one that got you chasing the dragon in the first place?"

So. Curious what FF blades are close to the overall length, blade length, steel thickness of a Mora? Pics would be especially useful. Comparison photos next to a Mora even better, but not a deal breaker.

Thanks for your time!

A mora is kind of like a puuko, and Andy's puuko model is the patch. A scandi patch would fit the bill!

Here's my very old beat up Mora Frost, one of my first knives as well.

Above it is a Recluse, below a Patch. You'd want scandi and 3/32 to get the closest match I think. The Patch is 3/32 the Recluse is 5/32.

How about a 3/32 Scandi Handyman AKA Scandiman.

The Scandi-man is another good option! Probably the closest in size to the Mora. Slightly longer than the Patch.

The Leuku, recluse and patch family of knives have that pukko style. One of my most carried knives is the recluse.
I replaced my mora with a fiddleback forge scandi bushcraft karda. I like the full handle and shorter blade for my scandi knives.
Good luck

So it was you who sharked my grail Handyman. I'll have to remember that :)

LOL! Actually it was M4Super90 who sharked it. He generously let me take this one because he sharked two that day, and he said he didn't want to be a "Scandiman hog".:D
