ive been eying some of peter atwoods tools lately and i as wondering how you buy them and where anyone willing to give a guy a hand?

He makes small (often VERY small) handy knives and tools for prying, interesting stuff, look very well made, unique designs. Check out his website, atwoodknives.com.

Limited production and high demand means they are almost always immediately sold out, I have given up looking myself. I have never seen any of his stuff on ebay or in the sales forum, I doubt he would ever bother wholesaling it to a store (why bother when he can't keep up with demand selling it himself retail?). Good position for a business to be in I suppose.

Try Gary Moore at Moore Cutlery... sorry, don't have a link. I do know that he occasionally has Atwood goodies on hand.

I got a drop point booger from www.edcforums.com a few years ago, lots of people sell off old atwood toys there. I think you need to register to see the for sale area.

I grabbed several Atwood tools before he was 'found'. I remember the days where there were several tools available at any given time. Lately, I haven't been able to get a single item directly from Peter. I've had to resort to the second hand approach.

It's definately worth being a member over at edcforums.com. I just got an Atwrench over there last week.

They pop up semi frequently over at candlepowerforums.com as well.

May I also recommend:

Not awoods, but similar tools and blades from a younger upstart. Might be easier getting something here if you must have a keychain prybar.
