Is there any way to get an auto Benchmade if you aren't law inforcement?

I'm looking at getting the Benchmite 3100 sometime down the road, but I don't see any retailers who sell it, so I'm wondering if I could only get it from someone selling it here on these forums.

I hear that Duane (I think) at EDCknives can get balisongs and stuff for people, and since he sells Benchmades, can he get auto Benchmites?

Maybe this should have been in the automatic knife forum... sorry if it's the wrong place guys (I'm guessing only admins can move it?).
 
Any online store will ship you a switchblade, it is up to you to make shure it isd legal for you to have it. Benchmade will not sell to or even return an auto to a non LEO military person.
 
Autos are legal in some States, so go to a state that sells them in a regular knife store. For example, 1st Stop Gun in Rapid City, South Dakota sells them to anyone right off the shelf, and they have a huge Benchmade selection.
