I recently completed a fairly different sheath from most of my previous attempts and it had me thinking about kydex sheaths a lot here the last few months. Specifically I have been wanting to see something different or unique or incredibly creative, but aside from a very few examples, I have seen little that is out of the ordinary in the realm of kydex sheaths. I was wondering if maybe anyone had made anything really different or unique out there that maybe I just didn't stumble upon?
Some of the only really different designs I came across were some of the offering by Jay Fisher with his unusual locking mechanism and add-ons
This one from LucyCustomKnives here on the forums using an aluminum "welt"
Some of the newer models by Grizzly-Outdoors
And of course pretty much anything by TIE Tactical
So that being said, these are just about the only "different" or unusual types of sheaths I could find, but I was wondering if anyone here had seen others by other makers or had made anything really different themselves?
