Is there anything similar to the CRKT Eros?

I mean, very lightweight, ultra thin profile, VERY pointy blade (which automatically discards the Ripple) and no more than three inches long.

You may have already thought of this, but the Kershaw Leek seems to fit the bill. The Al Mar Hawk Ultralight would be another to check out.

I already have a Leek Rainbow (amazing knife, by the way) but I hadn't thought of the Al Mar. Thank you!

I like it, but it's maybe a little too similar to the OD I posses. How about a BM Mini Pika, Ally or Sequel? Are they any good?

The Pika and Ally aren't that great... they're not USA made BM's either. If your 3 inch blade length requirement is a little flexible, the new Spyderco Des Horn would be worth consideration (3.11 inches, but Spyderco includes the tang in blade length, and you could probably sharpen out .11 inches pretty fast).

The CRKT Ripple.......extremely similar.

He said in the original post that he doesn't want a Ripple... lol weren't you the guy who was complaining about people posting without reading carefully a while back?

BM Paul Axial maybe? Or a mini-grip, regular blade style. Those are pretty poky. Kershaw Hawk might also fit the bill.

You could take a look at the Benchmade 440 and the 470 Both are very thin and light, and both have a pointy tip (not as much as the eros but I'd say still ample for detail work)

Now the 440 is a wc blade, so depends if you like that and the 370 is more of slender drop point I'd call it.

By the way... How can you tell if a knife is USA made before purchasing it?

I love the Des Horn! We might have a winner here. I don't know why, but I thought it was way bigger (Spydey Police big I mean).

Beautiful knife but I don't really like the Axial thing.

I already have a Ritter Mini Grip (different blade shape, I know) and I find the handle too bulky (hence my query about the Sequel).

Hawk might also fit the bill.

Yes, we have another contender. Thank you very much!

I like the Oppostunist. A lot. Thank you!

The list is getting way bigger than I imagined. LOL.

I need help! Please, talk me out of this...

I didn't know I could drool this much. :D

I can't talk you out of that, I've had one a long time.
You don't want to start looking at William Henry knives.

Most knife companies will state where they manufacture their knives on the website they are for sale, and have a stamp on the blade. The Des Horn does look like a great knife, I should be getting one anyday.
