I've been edcing this knife for close to a year now and it's beginning to show some wear. Is there a way to superficially mask those scratches? I believe it's anodized aluminum(It's an MKM flame).

Looks to me like the handle has minute gouges in it (scratches) instead of a layer of something else sitting on the surface. While aluminum oxide IS very hard, it's also thin. Usually only a thousandth of an inch thick. If something hits the surface hard enough, the base aluminum beneath will give, and you will get a scratch.I've been edcing this knife for close to a year now and it's beginning to show some wear.
