I have been looking forward to seeing what you guys have come up with, but so far I have not seen anything!

I heard there might be a special Buck knife in the works for the "2000" knife and I can hardly wait. Please let us know! I finally got one of the BladeForums.Com Plain Edge Blue Natives and I think it is time to add another to the collection!

When can we expect to hear something?

The 2000 knife will be ready by the time of the Blade Show. We have not finalized any knife as yet and I will anounce it in plenty of time. We will not do what we did with the BF Native and we may actually have two knives to meet two different price points.

I am interested in knowing what you would like to see though, so you can use this thread to let me know.

We're looking at a couple of options right now with a few different companies. Whatever we do offer, will be relatively unique in it's own way. We are looking at both fixed blade and folding knife options.

If we do offer a folding knife, I'm hoping this year that we are going to be able to break the $100 price point and offer something of similar quality with a lower price tag.

Insert witty quip here

Isn't Darrell Ralph doing a new collaboration with REKAT? Spark and Mike were able to get the first run of the SIFU's; could the first run of the Ralph collaboration be the 2000 Bladeforums knife?

Just a thought...

I have been sworn to secrecy, but rumor has it that the official knife's manufacturer will rhyme with 'nad gob.'
