Is there something like a Delica with linerlock?

I'm looking for something the size of the Delica or slightly smaller, but in a linerlock or compression lock, and tip up carry. Any suggestions? The Para military looks the closest, but it's tip down carry.

Maybe the walker lightweight?

Or the Cricket or Meerkat. Wait, are they tip up or tip down? I also REALLY like my blue Salsa which is 2.5", has a compression lock, a Cobra hood, nd is discounted at the moment to $43.95 as a discontinued model. It is also tip up.

Lil Temperance? Similar blade size, but bigger handle, If I recall.

Herbst (discontinued) but I can't recall if it's up/down

Thanks for the responses guys. Looks like most of the tip up contenders are a bit on the stubby side, which I find takes up more room clipped on the pocket due to their wide handles and blades, which is something I don't like. I may have to try the Paramili and tap holes into the handle for tip up carry instead.

you'll have a hard time finding a tip up linerlock since they are more prone to opening on themselves... you wouldn't wanna be reaching into your pocket for your tip up liner only to find out it's open.

Probably the best one for you would be the Lum Chinese folder. It's a liner lock, just about the same size as a Delica, and tapped for both tip up and tip down carry. It's been discontinued for a while, but bothNGK and JFJ show the serrated version in stock, the PE is a bit harder to find, the Exchange Forum here and eBay would be your best bets.

The earlier Vesuvius is also tip up / down carry. Not quite a linerlock, but compression lock and I strongly advice tip down carry (that thing opens sooo easily)...

My Viele is similar in size and now that I have converted it to a tip up carry pocket clip it is even closer to the Delica but a bit more hefty. Smooth knife though and the lock up of the liner lock is great.

While I agree with tip-down carry on a general basis, I suggest that your problem with too easy opening of your knife is that the pivot screw has become too loose. Try tightening it. From the picture in the post after yours, I should say that all you need is a Philips Head screwdriver.

Thanks for the advice but my Vesuvius is set for tip down. And besides, my wife carries it, so accidental opening it's not a problem for me ;)
