So i am still waiting on my first Busse(kin) knife (a swamp rat rodent solution)to arrive and i am already drooling over all the busse knife pics i see. so i was wondering is this just me or is this kind of a thing common?
 
It is very common.
I (and many others here) would recommend saving your wallet and CCs the torture and just turn around and RUN!!! Convince yourself there is NO Busse!!! :D

CongRats on the RS!!! I'm sure it won't be your last from the Busse family!! ;)
 
It certainly sounds like you've got the fever, and even before you've got the knife in hand! It's all downhill from here, but this isn't a bad addiction to have. :)
 
They're right. My RS just came in. I thought it would stem the cravings, maybe it did for a while. Then they just came back. Stronger than before.
Run. Run while you still have the chance. It's too late for us. Save yourself.
Seriously though, awesome blades.
 
Don't worry, it's very common and perfectly natural. I still do it every time there's a new knife, or one I haven't seen before, or just a good picture...

Don't bother buying the safe though - that's money that could be spent on more infi. Besides, being locked in a dark safe makes infi mad, and it's more likely to bite you when you go in there. Instead, take those knives out into the woods and let them hunt for food, the way nature intended. They'll thank you for it and be loyal to you for ever!

Well, I know a tall, bearded guy who ordered his first Busse, a BB SH II, in 1994. This person used the profile of the knife from a Busse ad to make an enlarged photocopy to the exact dimensions of the knife, to try to get an idea of the size of the knife that was coming, and then drooled over that for weeks. These people are nuts, I tell ya!
 
Welcome to your new addiction! You'll see that it is not unusual to lust after INFI. It's a good time to be getting into it Busse, Scrap Yard and Swamp Rat have put out some amazing blades recently and there is more to come. The Anniversary blades look amazing.

Good choice on the RS. It's a great little blade with excellent ergos. Enjoy it!!
 
Extremely common :thumbup: It would be weird if you didn't! Congrats on your first Busse Kin blade!
 
Now you have to start thinking about sheaths :)
 
1. Fact: Busses aren´t cheap.
2. Fact: You cannot have them all.
3. Fact: The are apparently the best knives out there.
4. Opinion: They must be the best looking knives out there. Just an opinion, but I´m possitive about it.
5. Fact: I have never seen the first grave with a safebox.

So you better enjoy them while you can... Just do yourself a favor and, doestn´t matter wich one you get...beat the living---out of it....but if you can´t do it. then show it, grab it and touch it, and finally hang it on a wall where everybody can see it...(just another way to enjoy them I guess).

When the delivery date gets close you can usually see me looking out the window with my two dogs drooling everytime a car comes by.
