Is there too much of a good thing lately? Sprints

It's neat to see the great combination of colors and steels but I can't even keep track anymore. One after another for a good while now and with so many folks voicing concerns about QC I wonder if it's too much too fast? I don't know squat about knife production but I can read. I'm sure not against exclusives and you bet I have an orange P2 coming but I sure hope I'm not disappointed as all my Spydercos have been almost perfect thus far. The CPMD2 Para was my first and it is still my best. Smoother than any of the 4 P2s I've had.

I'll put Spydercos together in Golden for a dollar an hour less than the low guy on the totem pole! :)
 
The Sprint models that I have purchased have been pretty good in the QC department. But I have to admit that the number of them has been hard on the wallet. :eek:

I am not allowing myself to buy any other knives right now. I just got the M390 Military and have the XHP Para and 204P Para on order. I'll be set for a little while...I hope.
 
Spyderco has been bringing it lately that's for sure.
 
I dont SPRINT that much anymore [ just the odd fling ]. I prefer to take a steady stroll approach. But your right Quality control is paramount. I am involved in Arboriculture [ tree worker] and I AM ONLY AS GOOD AS MY LAST JOB, besides shoddy workman ship on my behalf cannot be hidden. A recently worked on tree ie CROWN REDUCTION , STICKS OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB, for all to see. Have a nice day . FARON
 
I really got hooked on the idea of having the "best steel" along with the "Best lock" along with the "best handle" and "best edc comfort"

I am taking a step back and forcing myself to carry a good enough knife for a long (for me) period of time. To break the habit down a little bit.

Wanting all the different knives in all the different colors, trying to finding them all and not missing out, was getting a little stressful! :D
 
I'm trying to limit my hoarding, but I still have orange, brown and dark green Paras on pre-order. But I'd like to crank it down close to zero.
 
Variety is good. I have green and orange on pre-order and passed on blue and brown.

I cannot wait for Native sprints. Give me steels and colors. But first I want Ti Fluted.:thumbup:
I really need dark green Native to match my para2.
