Is this “install the app” legit?

I’ll show my ignorance- picture below.
Is the application install button legitimate? I would suspect so, but I can’t believe I never noticed it before now. Just a red flag for something probably completely on the up-n-up.

Well, I’m using iOS 16.5 and the “app” worked for me. Watch that video and it helps. I didn’t have to go through the App Store. I can send you a screen recording of how I did it, if that helps. Seems pretty legit so far.
