I have this camillus knife that ive had for several years and have kept an eye out for others like it but never have seen another. Sorry the pics are horrible from my phones camera..On the main blade it says camillus cutlery co. camillus, ny. then on the one side of the handle engraved in it says "chicago 1933" and the opposite side says "a century of progress".....
I believe its a chicago worlds fair knife because these sayings and date popped up under the 1933 chicago worlds fair search but would like to confirm that and also would like to know if any of you all have seen a similar knife. is it rare or a dime a dozen?

got any clear pics?

Camillus knives of that pattern and vintage are fairly common on ebay and usually sell for little money.

Almost any old pocket knife is "rare". I mean, how many of these objects, meant to be used as tools, will survive for 70 or 80 years? The problem is, just because an item is rare, that doesn't necessarily make it valuable and many people seem to want to equate the two very different qualities.
