Is this a 110?

It's a 560. I have seen pix's of the 560 with 110 stamped on the blade...????

Clydetz is right - it is a Model 560. This is the silver variation, it also came in a gold, or champagne color, and an all black version. These have been discontinued for a few years now and have recently made a comceback on eBay and other auctions sites. Some folks have sent these into Buck and for a small price, have had the blades upgrade to BG-42 steel. If the price is right on the auction, the upgrade makes one sweet cutting tool. :D

Thanks for the help guys...I have recently decided to collect 110's but am still learning about them somewhat, I thought this might be an all metal one they had offered in the past or something.

neat knife. Wonder how much it weighs....

I'm afraid i do not have a scale handy but the catalogue did say that the knife is "amazingly lightweight" if that helps.

A collection of 110's could easily include all variations of the model such as the 560, 426, 111, and of course, the 186 take apart titanium. They all used the same blade and basic handle outline.

Take care,

Cool so far my collection is in the baby stage,

1. A custom shop Elk scale and Nickel Bolster I ordered for myself.
2. A 100 years of Buck with scale plaque.
3. A 40th anniversary of the 110 from Smokey Mountian Knifeworks, that says there were only 750 made.

Only 3 so far, but hey every collection states somewhere!

Just watch yourself...the 110's are very addictive! :D Then come the 112's, 532's, 535's, .......!

With a partially serrated BG42 blade replacement, and a one-armed bandit added, my 560 weighs 4.995 ounces (and yes, I can measure that exactly)
