Unfortunately I don't have a better picture. The bottom knife looks like a Benchmade 705 or 710 limited edition. I was not able to find a picture of this particular model anywhere though. It this a modified knife or a rippoff then?

Anyone has a knife like this?

Looks like an aftermarket mod for a 705. There have been some wood handled/insert versions of the 705. There was also a wood scaled brass bolster 710 from Benchmade. Very limited and expensive.

There was an all-wood version, like the one pictured, done by Benchmade as a limited run for someone - a sporting goods outfit, I think. So that could be one of those, or an aftermarket job. I seem to remember the limited edition looking different than your photo - I think it was lighter colored laminated wood, and I don't remember it having the palm swell the pic shows.

Ah! Here we go,

"Here's a pair of limited edition knives featuring wood scales that are a great looking couple. Produced exclusively for Kevin's Guns, they feature Stabilized Bubinga scales, mosaic pins (180-400) and barrel back spacers (705-400).

Exclusive through Kevin's Guns. Limited Edition of 50 pieces each."

I don't know Dmax, looks fishy to me. The handle profile doesn't look right, the thumbstud looks wrong, the blade doesn't look right either. The only thing that looks authentic to me is the Axis lock. But it's hard to tell with just that little photo. The photo also looks like the handle has been pinned, instead of using the regular Torx bolts. And there are no holes for the clip screws. I have both a 705 and a 710, and that thing doesn't look familiar. I smell a rat.

That looks like dymondwood or pakkawood to me. There's a decent chance somebody customized that on their own, not many manufacturers use that stuff besides frost. Its decent as a handle material, and cheap to buy, but not necessarily the best looking stuff. Especially when you get into all the wild color combinations.
The odd thing is the top corner of the blade hanging out of the handle so far in the closed position. I don't remember the 705 or 710 being that way at all. I don't have one here to compare either though.

I've got my 705 here, and whatever that is, the blade corner is way the wrong place for it to be a customized 705.

I'm thinking it's a knockoff, maybe one of the China plastic-handled axis-lock cheapies with pakkawood scales made for it.

That blade corner - looking at my BMs, it's just *wrong*.

looks more like a 730 to me, but one thing is weird, that screw in the middle. BMs have them through the backspacer at the rear. May have just been modded a bunch

That thing is as fake as Pamela Anderson's chest. I noticed the blade corner as well but didn't mention it specifically. That, and the overall blade shape are the most damning evidence of all. No matter how much you mod a knife, the basic blade geometry doesn't change. Especially the back of the blade, because it won't lock up properly if you mess with it.
