Is this a Busse knock off??? 3B2?

Hello guy and gals,

I bought this knife at a garage sale thinking it looked real cool. I had a skinny-ash before and I thought this looked like it. I figured it was a Chinese knock off, because there are no Busse markings on it. The lady was asking $50 bucks and I figured I would offer her $40, she took it. Now my question is if this is a Chinese knock off, could I still sale this on e-bay or is there a copy right issue? I figured I could double my money and get at least $80 for it. If not I will just keep it, its very solid and the handles feel great.

Don't know if it's a knockoff, but if it is, it's better than most i've seen.

Someone will be along soon to tell you for sure

I believe thats a mil over run. Worth much more than you paid.
 
I appreciate the offers, but I don't think I can sell items on here since I'm not a gold member. That's why I mentioned e-bay.
 
If its real...an early Busse 3B2....then you scored! I'd happily give you twice the 40, you paid.
 
You guys are making me regret not buying the other two she had. Was going to sale me all three for $100, but I was short on cash and wasn't sure if it was a knock off. She said she was going through a divorce and that her husband collected knives.
 
You need to run.... Not walk back there and give her drivers license and tell her to hold the others!

Maybe you should go back and tell her that the other two are worth about $500 each and direct her to Blade Forums or Ebay, That's the stand up thing to do.
My guess is she can use the money and will appreciate the honesty.
