Is this a common problem with Spydercos?

I just got my first Spyderco today, a Delica, and I have, within a few hours, developed a distinct soreness on the end of my thumb from opening and closing the crazy thing so much. What a cool knife! I have found a new EDC!

Build up that callus man! Sounds like the makings of an addiction to me. Another customer bitten by the Spyder bug.

Yeah. I found that out also. It's amazing; Just one and you're hooked
Like STR says "build up that callus", 'cause it sounds like you're gonna need it for long term action
