I recently bought this stone at a flee market not entirely sure knowing what it was. At first I thought it was a black Arkansas but I soon realized that it wasn't after a little lapping. A friend of mine sent me a picture of a escher stone saying that I might have one. It had saw marks all over the sides but before I was told that it was possibly a escher stone. I lapped most of them away and now it only has a few of the original saw marks.

I was hoping for opinions on weather or not I might have a escher stone and if not what kind of stone I might have.
The dimensions of this stone are 7x1.5 in and about .75in thick.

It's not an Escher unless it has an Escher label. It may have come from the same mine, and may even have once had an Escher label.
None of this matters unless you plan to sell it.

I'm not looking to sell it but I am really curious about it and wondering if I need to go find a slurry stone that was originally with it

You can cut a bit off the end if you want a slurry stone or just use a diamond card/plate to raise the slurry.
