I should've done more research prior to bidding, but luckily im only into it $21. I happened upon this auction ending in like 10 minutes, and it seemed like a decent deal, but as im searching all over google images, i cant find any Kershaw Leeks with this blade shape. It says its a 2008 production model.
Anyhow, does this appear to be a factory production blade or a repair?

Leek tips are really thin and they will break with light prying, I've repaired two for people. This one was done really well. I wish Kershaw would release a shape like this, I'd buy it.

I believe the seller just buys and sells used or new knives. He took a closer look for me and agrees that it looks modified or repaired, so he was nice enough to cancel the transaction. Oh well... back on the hunt.

Yeah, i had a case of wishful thinking, as i was really hoping it was some less common broader shaped Leek blade. I like the size and style of the Leek, but the standard Leek's blade shape makes me uneasy in terms of durability.

I would have bought it. Thats a lot better job than the reprofiling I did on my wife's Leek when she broke the tip off prying open a paint can lid. It was well done and the tip appears much stronger.

Your wife is braver than I am

That is a reprofile job.

OP.... send me your address. I will send you a Leek.

Skyline is about as close as you can get.

haha, nice.
Check ebay tonight or tomorrow perhaps. I think the seller is going to relist it if you really are interested.

For some reason, I cant find where/how to PM you. When i click on your name i dont see any PM options. Just curious about price and condition.
