I saw this recently and dont ever remember seeing it in a catalog or anyone here showing one. The scale lasering seems different from others I have seen. So is it legit and Ive missed it or a private customization?

Fritz, I saw one on the bay and I was goig to try and buy it... But I've never seen one so I didn't go for it... :eek:
 
Yeah it seems akin to those 1 if 400 spider web and such type of jobs. I like it, but if its not the real deal, I'm not interested....I dont think:D

NO it would be the mark of a 2011! (.

It looks real to me(my 2cents) and that was the year that BUCK introduced the newer (ANVIL with the B on it) i am pretty sure.
 
No, Rich Guys.......slow down and read carefully and then look carefully.

I mean it looks like a period right after the "110" itself.

I've seen that on fakes.......unfortunately, can't tell for sure from this pic.

Otherwise, the knife looks like a Buck 110 to me. The rivets seem to be spaced correctly (another tip-off for fake 110s) and the blade shape looks good.......just that stamp that is a question.
 
I need to clarify my question. I feel confident it is a genuine 2011 110, the question is, is the blade and the scale work a factory offered part number/special project or is there an outside source doing the lazer and blade stamping?

I see what you are looking at but if you look at some other new 110's, the top of the "A" in USA snuggles right up against the bottom of the 110 zero.
 
Ah, ok. I don't have anything that new.

That was my last question.

I'd guess that an aftermarket wizard did the ugly embellishments.
