is this a fake spyderco?

it's fake right? it's sold for about 130 USD, and doesn't even say what brand it is. I've never seen a spyderco like it either.

Some people (Won't mention any names) seem to think that you guys aren't losing any business when they buy these copied designs instead of the legit ones that you design. It frustrates me to see that kind of ignorance.

Whether or not we lose business is not possible to know. But to use our name, trademarks and box is simply not a "Right" way to behave (business-wise) in a civil society. Perhaps saying that "it doesn't hurt our business" is a way of justifying, what in my opinion, is ethically challenged behavior. Something about "thou shalt not steal". comes to mind.

Agreed. I really like the lines of that- if Spyderco actually made it I'd be first in line.
