Is this a FAKE?

I just purchased this Spyderco off the flea bay. It is supposedly refurbished no box or paper work. So I figured I would ask here to get some confirmation as to validity of the knife as in being a genuine Spyderco or a fake. I am just not up on Spyderco's knves to be a judge myself. If anyone has any idea please let me know and if it is I'll alert the powers that be and send it back to where it came from. I'll post in the general forums too. thanks and stay safe

PS I think this one has bearings in it and I think it is a Schempf design but not sure

Spyderco Hungarian.... Seems genuine! Soon as you get it you'll know.

Looks right. Should run on washers though. Nice knife, I like mine.

Not a lot of $ in trying to fake a Hungarian. As far as I can tell, it looks like mine.

I know practically nothing about Spyderco fakes. That being said would it be a safe assumption that this model with the unique bolster and pocket clip be less likely to be cloned? Just trying to educate myself on the subject. Big Spyderco fan, I have a ton of them.

Good point but, as I mentioned in another thread, note that the box does NOT have a bar code label on it which has always been a tip off for me of a possible fake.

You'd think that they could fake a label too but, for some reason, they don't bother trying to do it. At least, so far as I've seen.

Thanks folks. Gonna call these jazzbo's out and send it back. Second time in a number of yrs. I was sold a clone. Been collecting f.b.'s mostly and have a couple of EKI's too. stay safe
