Is this a fake?

I don't think it's a "fake"; Marbles knives are made in China these days and are priced inexpensively.

They have nothing to do with the famous, high quality Marbles knives of days past - other than the name.
 
Yep china,still not to bad i have packed them as well as the axe they can be had for around $20 with a leather sheath :D ,good luck.

Still for $20 you will have yourself a pretty good knife, albeit a copy of the classic ones with good materials. Do a review on W&SS and let us know how well it works out for you.

This is NOT a copy of a Marble's knife made in the U S, this is a Chinese design sold to the Owners of the Marble's company. Don't waste your time looking for "the real thing"
 
I knew I could count on you guys to fill me in. Its still so cool to me that I can hear from industry leaders. I do know what the "real" marbles look like, and I knew this one didn't look like that, but hopefully it will work out ok for me, I bought it to tide me over until I can scrape together funds for something nice, and I think this will do the trick.
