Is this a good buy?

interesting handle....."avatar".....any particular reason for it? (just curious)



I've read lots of chatter about the SOCOM's.......most good. Buy what you like - less trading in the long run.
 
My non-auto mini-Socom elite is one heck of a knife. It appears to have grippier handles than the one in this auction though. Anyways, mine has a great blade, great build quality, great design, it's just great.

It is more than a decent knife. It's one of he great ones. I've got the manual, stonewashed, plain edge version. Top quality, bigger than it looks, great grip and handling characteristics. The manual alone should sell for three times that price, but there's plenty of time for the price to go up up up :D
 
Avatar, welcome to Bladeforums. I don't know if you've looked around, but we also have an Automatic Knife forum, where you can get more opinions than you'll have time to read :)

There are too many good autos on the market, but don't think to get one too cheap or the quality just won't be there.
 
It won't sell that low I'm sure.

Better bid quick before the eBay Auto-Police lock it down!
