Is This A Helko Werk Axe?

The axe/hatchet is 16 inches overall. The head was painted gold with what looks like a green painted label. The only marking on the axe or handle is the HW letters shown and they were under the paint. The handle has some shallow ribbing on the handle throat near the knob.

Anyone know if this is a Helko?

Looks like it could be to me.

The ribbing on the handle is not intentional, sometimes it just happens.

The stepping of the knob is from the copy lathe. They normally sand it all off but sometimes miss some of it. It does appear likely it's a Helko as the handles they use are known to sometimes exhibit that.
