Is this a Mark II?

I'm comparing this to what I'm finding on the net and it seems like there are Mark II's that have "Mark II" etched on the blade, but mine does not.

Is mine a Mark II or something else?

looks like one of the commemorative reissues of the MkII to me.
when you look at it edge on, does it look like the blade is bent ever so slightly?
some of them had a 2 degree bend right at the guard - supposedly to make them better for carrying out of the sheath when sneaking in the dark.

No, the blade seems perfectly straight. Can't detect any kind of bend or curvature.

Does the number 052822 mean anything?

Here are two links that provide info on that serial number for a mk II.
If it's genuine, it looks to be made in 1976.
I'm not an expert on anything that would indicate whether it's a forgery or what it's monetary value is one way or the other, so I can't help you out any more than providing these links on dating mark IIs from their serial numbers.
