Got a new Buck 110 pro…g 10 scales..
its nice but there is a significant spacing gap on liners …one side….you can see thru the knife…
….if the pinch the scales togeather, the spacing gap closes..

is this normal..or is it a manufacturing flaw..

I see it sometimes similar to that on 110 models. for a user it doesn't bother me and it kinda falls more into cosmetic. you can send it back to Buck. if it annoys you now, it will only annoy ya later too.

I would go ahead and send that one in if I were you. Like jb said, if it annoys you a little now, it’ll annoy you a lot later. Best to let Buck get you fixed up or send you a prime example.:thumbsup:

For what it’s worth- on a user it wouldn’t bother me. But for a collector piece I would send it in. It’s all preference/use to me.

Yea, it does kind of bother me….
I just sent pics to Buck warrentee email…
and asked is the normal…or a qc failure…

just checked all of my pro 110 and 112s, plus some aftermarket 110 and 112, eight in all. they all have gaps in minor variation. i don't care because of the nature of the knife. i would rather be able to see if the knife was dirty and to be assured all oils or protective coatings get where i want them. to me this is not a qc problem, it's normal. if it bothers you send it in. Buck stands by its products and will do their best to alleviate the situation.
