Recently a friend gave me a small Schrade like I haven't seen before. It's 3 3/8 long closed and is a "dual springer" i.e. there is a button and safety switch on both sides each of which controls a blade. The scales are sterling silver, and so marked and both scales are "repoussee" worked. One scale also says "Compliments of the Home Insurance Co.N.Y. The larger blade is stamped: Schrade
Cutco
Walden, N.Y.
and the small blade is stamped: Patent

It really is a pretty little knife, especially for a customer giveaway. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I am kind of a newcomer. Thanks!!

Not rare but they are very desirable to some collectors depending on condition. It would have been made sometime between that patend date and 1946. We would love to see pictures.
Thanks Rick
