Is this A real Benchmade?

I got this knife is a trade. I traded thinking that this is the real thing. If it is when was it made? Not for sale if real.

Well I don't anything about Balisongs, but the lettering doesn't look clean. I have had a few older Benchmades and they have always had clean clear writing on them.

I would email Benchmade directly. They should know if it is real or not.

Looks real enough to me, and it looks old: the butterfly has still got its antennas. It is in good shape too, congrats!
