Some years ago, I had heard of a collaboration between Spyderco and Laguiole, a knife in the shape of laguiole, but with spyderco blade.
after time, I found this model:

after having taken this, as far as I've tried yet, I have not found any more.
Now, if possible, if anyone knows, I would like to know if this model is a spyderco, in which year it was made and which value might have?

never seen it before darrex but the seki city japan is something spyderco-ish.

Yes this most certainly is a Spyderco. It's a RL01S Ramco Laguiole. From Spydiewiki website "Introduced in 1994 the Ramco/ Laguiole is a knife that was produced using the well- known laguiole style from the French wine-districts paired with Spyderco's well- known quality thinking and high- quality workmanship. The Spyderco Laguiole has a Mar-McBurnette frontlock and a Black Micarta handle with brass liners. The Bee on top of the knife was redesigned by Sal Glesser to make it a little more "bug- like". The knife was produced for Spyderco under the RAMCO Label in Seki City, Japan. The Laguiole was discontinued in 1995. The Laguiole by Spyderco is considered a Spyderco by some collectors and not by others. The fact that it's made by order of Spyderco and came in Spyderco boxes makes this author believe it is indeed a Spyderco, even without the trademark Spyderco hole opener in the blade. "

I've always considered it as a distant cousin but it is part of the family.

A quote from Sal

Spyderco Laguiole

Spyderco produced a Laguiole "style" knife about 8 years ago. It was a front lock folder designed by Dennis LeMaire. We produced it in Seki. Steel was GIN-1. We designed our own "bee" for the traditional look. Quality was excellent. Came in Plain or serrated. Custom made leather sheath also had the "bee" embossed on the sheath.

It was/is IMO the best quality Laguiole ever to hit the market. We actually lost quite a bit of $ in the project.

Dealer support wasn't there and the model was dropped. One of the Spyderco crew just purchased one of the remaining pcs at the last Spyderco "Crew sale" last week.

They were, however, quite expensive. As I remember, Over $130 retail + sheath.

Like Rycen, I consider the Ramco Laguiole a "cousin", rather than a Spyderco because, like the Solo knives, it carries no Spyderco markings. OTOH, it's right up there with the 2 screw Worker, P.I.G. Police, Klotzli Walker, and C27 Jess Horn on a lot of Spyderco collectors "Top 10 Spyderco Grail Knives" lists and Sal considers it a Spyderco product.

Before the spyderHOLE era ...
The lack of a Spyderhole or any other implementation of the original patent, like the C27 Jess Horn's trapezoidal depressions, may have been the reason why the Ramco Laguiole and the Solo lobe openers that Sal designed and had built were not labeled with the Spyderco brand name.

I remember that knife, I also remember when they cleared them out. Back then it seemed awful expensive.

As far as a hole in the blade.

The hole used to be just a way to open the blade instead of some iconic way to recognize a Spyderco.

Nice looking knife.

I have a friend that ask me to sell him, but I don't know how much I could ask........
I have search on the net and I haven't find a similar model.

The last one I saw sold went for $250(USD), and that was several years ago. Let your conscience be your guide, but know that what you have there is worth quite a bit.
