Is this a standard Worker model? Or transitional?

Heya.

This worker has the hallmarks of the gen 2 worker: 3-hole clip with a thicker handle slab on the clip side. However, according to SpydieWiki, gen 2s should have beveled handles. This one doesn't. Is this some kind of transitional model?

Might be an early example of Spyderco's Constant Quality Improvement (CQI).

Doesn't seem to fit the descriptions of an Evolution Worker that I found on the internetz. Supposedly, those were two screw and numbered "X of 1000."

Aside from the markings pictured above, this thing is marked "Spyderco-USA" on the "show" side of the blade. No steel type mark anywhere.

My second guess would be a two-screw that has been retrofitted with a new clip.

It is either the 2nd generation or part of the evolution set. My guess is the former.
