I got this for Christmas. Its the 192 oak/ats 34 buildout. the blade has divots in the grind, on both sides.

I think its too much of a flaw. Really disappointing.

Not OK, that one should not have slipped thru. I purchased one also, going to have to check it more closely.

Mine is pictured on this Sunday Picture Show post #4 and is not that way. Not acceptable, I'd send it back if it were mine. Preston

Thanks folks, I knew it wasn't. Just needed re enforcement and kinda wanting to vent. Unfortunately, sending it back means no more knife. They're all gone. It's a shame because I really like the knife.

Preston, it's not the only flaw on this knife. I was looking at the red spacers and said to myself they're out of position. I knew you had shown a pic of yours so I went to look at it. The red spacers on yours touch the pommel and guard. Mine touches the guard and one spacer.

You should email Jeff or Joe directly about this. I doubt it was the last ATS34 blade they had. You might find they’ll replace this LE. Their emails are easy enough to find...

Had i paid good money for it
By George! I would be rather upset with a flawed finish like this.
Thank g'wad you have the option of having the matter seen to.

They have all kinds of odd blades laying around. Have them replace it with an old BG-42.

Surely Joe can find one in a cupboard somewhere.

They did you wrong......now they should do you right.
