Is this AD-10 legitimate?

I saw many videos and read thoroughly (twice) the thread "Is my AD 10 fake? Help please", so I'm already 99% sure about the authenticity of my AD-10, which I bought from the "Big Rainforest River" store.

I've even found another sure way to differentiate the legit from the most common counterfeit which we already know from videos. Because this information isn't really needed and could help the criminals to make better fakes, I'll keep quiet.

The only (very) unpleasing detail is a failed print in the package:

Also, when compared with the Recon 1 packages, there's a swap in the position of the QR code and the "California warning":

There are other modifications in the package. In the Recon 1 package, the first item in the list of the specifications was the Blade Length; now, the Steel is the first item in the list:

The folder itself seems to be legit:

I also noticed a difference in the geometry of the blade of my AD-10 and some others I've found in YouTube.

Despite of some unpleasant details, my AD-10 seems to be original. But I may be wrong of course...

Do I have a legit AD-10 in my hands?

Man, I like a deal too, but if you just worked the hours you spent researching this, you probably could've paid full MSRP from coldsteel.com, not doubt it, and have more money in the bank at the end

One way to tell is if the thumb lugs edges are sharp ;if they are and not smooth it can be a fake .

Well, I can't resist a bargain... I've paid $300 for this AD-10, but I would end paying something around $600 if I were buying directly from Cold Steel. Because I'm buying directly from Amazon, I hope it's legit.

In the end, anything is better than pay a single a single cent to those criminals who are responsible for all the wasted time.

That's right! I noticed that difference in the thumb lugs while seeing the videos.

The edges in this AD-10 are smooth.

That's Brazil pricing. The import taxes sum around 100%, and they apply also to the shipping costs. And the shipping costs from USA are very high these days.

It's insane, but if you want to buy the good legally, that's the rule of the game. That's why the price of $300 (for a $190 item) can be called a "bargain".

And it's over. A few days later the price in the same store skyrocketed to $380.

I don't want to submit this folder to a "stress test", so every little detail counts a lot.

I've learned so many things in this thread. Not perhaps about knives, but about logic. If you fail one single premise, if you assume just one thing as certain without actually knowing what's happening, your whole thinking process will fail/fall like a castle of cards. It's fascinating and shows how difficult is to think.

At this point I'm convinced that this AD-10 is legitimate. I won't do a "stress test" for a very good reason: as shown in the comparative video, even the counterfeit AD-10 item can stand some amount of abuse. I would have to over-abuse the unit I have, which makes no sense.

I have only a couple of days to return this unit, so if there's any doubt about it... it's now or never! Thank you all.
