Right now as i type (on my phone) im in my local knife shop and they got a blur for 30$, sadly their changing their buisness from knives to camping and their thinning their selection. All black plain edge version? good deal?

it also comes with what he says is a spare mystery peace.. idk what that means lol he says its just them trying to get rid of stuff they have sitting around.
 
So i bought it, this is my mystery part.. what is it?

That's a torsion bar. That's what makes the blade fly open after you get it moving a bit. Did you disassemble the knife or was that an extra part?
 
yep, that's a good deal. even cheaper than the blems at that price.

Was a free part the knife is assembled, brand new out the box, was a 60% off sale on it trying to thin out stock, there getting rid of their black blurs, black leeks a bunch of gerbers a couple benchmades like 4 or 5 bucks and a bunch of other stuff.

There going from knives to camping supplies, so a smaller selection of knives and a newer selection of survival tools.
Alot of stuff was gone there was alot of missing spaces but the blur was behind some real expensive stuff and no1 else noticed it.
 
You can email Kershaw after you get the knife and they'll send you as many "mystery pieces" as you'd like. I wouldn't put value on that piece, but yeah -- as long as it's new and not a blem, good price. I'd buy it, but I'm a compulsive knife person.

yea its new, and regardless of if its worth anything it was still just one of those little extras that just makes your day that much more pleasant
