is this any good

Don't know what your asking...give us some info as to what you are looking for in a knife, what you'll use it for, etc. FWIW Bucks are guaranteed for life, have good steel and have been around for a long, long time. Preston

As long as you dont use it as a screwdriver or pry bar its good!
Bucks are the best in the business! :)

Have you held one yet? The first impression I had with mine was that it's massive. The steel frame side plates are nearly 3mm thick. Super smooth pivot and a solid lock. Love it!

The 277 is ATS34 Steel and supposed to come in the burgundy sheath that you can carry both vertical and horizontal.

Sure it's good!

The Buck 277 is a great knife. Given the value for the form, fit, and function, you won't be disappointed.
