iS THIS BUUCK PERSONAL A 440C MODEL

I think I bought this knife around '76to '79. It came in the parchment colored box with the flap sheath. would this kind of sheath indicate it is early enough to have a 440 c blade. I'd really like to know. Appreciate all responses from you Buck collectors out there.

I believe Buck used 440c until the early 1980's. If so I would guess that's what yours is. Best way to tell the age would be to post a photo of the knife as the number and type of handle spacers and the way the blade is marked can be good indicators.

Yes, maybe. A photo of the sheath would help us as well. Thanks. It may sound like a pain but if you want good accurate information then a few photos are a bargain. DM
