is this Collins Co. blade worth anything?

Found this at a what was essentially a yard sale, is it worth anything? Couldn't find a record of a Collins Co. machete with a bird handle, hoping you folks can help me out.

I would not be surprised to learn that someone had heavily modified a standard pattern machete into what we see on the photos. John

It's worth what you can get for it. It's a pretty modern conversion of a plain (probably foreign) Collins model. Offhand I'd say the Chichicastenango area of Guatemala. They used to make a lot of similar models for tourists, usually in the form of Mayan gods, but dogs, birds, and other critters were sometimes offered -
