Because the log is throwing me off. I thought it was supposed to be stamped. Any info would be appreciated.

So no official word from Spyderco about the stamp to laser etch switch?

They did indeed switch the stamping method. Every Seki City Spydie I've bought within that past year or so has had the laser etched logo.

Where did you buy it from?

Doesn't look legit to me...
All of my Endura's are stamped. Laser etching does exist, but I've never seen it on an Endura.
Also that pocket clip looks kinda funky...

I bought it from an authorized dealer. But you know... there's always a question of what if.

There is no fake Sabre Grind non emeralds AFAIK.
Plain FFG (especially sold as ZDP) and Emerson Sabre Grind fakes are most common. The blade surface texture on first image indeed looks like VG10 with its special sheen.
You can check in this thread (stickied):
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/796442-Spyderco-Fakes-amp-Knock-Offs-Info or sending it with return shipping to Spyderco to validate.

I think they started using laser since the Superblue, but perhaps earlier. I wasn't into Endura before that.

If you bought it from an auth dealer you should be fine......Amazon and eBay are the danger zones.

On amazon you can often see who is actually sending the knife. You can check to see if the purveyor you have selected is a manufacturer's rep for spyderco. I've done it myself. However you often have to pay a few dollars more to select a purveyor who gives their name.

^^ Yup......but most people shopping there will NOT pay the couple extra bucks! Then they wind up here asking if their knife is real!!

The main problem with Amazon is that their own stock, and that of sellers using their "fulfillment by Amazon" service is co-mingled. Amazon may not purchase counterfeits, but may wind up shipping you one Yes, you're safer with a Spyderco dealer whose products are "sold and shipped by" themselves via Amazon's marketplace. But, as you noted, you have to do some digging to find that out. IMHO, it's better to pay a few dollars more and buy from a legitimate dealer via that dealer's website.

I think it best to stick to one or two dealers as long as the price is not drastically different. This way you get a history with them and when you need extra attention, or have a problem, they are more motivated to listen.

I buy Enduras from GPKnives as a first choice, or buy used at the gun show :)
