Is this enough reason to send a knife back?

I sent a finished folder to a customer and he loves everything about it, except the hole in the blade for the detent ball is slightly visible when the knife is open.

I try my best not to let the hole become exposed, but sometimes when trying to keep everything porportional you grind a little too much off of the front of the knife. I didn't think that it was a big deal, I have seen high end autos with the hole in the blade for the release exposed.
Here is a pic, what do you think?
Thanks,
CHuck

Ya just can't please some folks Chuck!
Take it back with a smile and put it back on the market. I'm sure it won't last long.

take her back and...............do what L6 said :) He may have had buyers remorse and wanted the money for something else. You never know?

PS - Looks damn fine to me :)

As far as your folder's go there second to none in my book. Refund his money if he just can't live with it. I'm sure you'll find another buyer for it with no problem.

I agree with Brian, I had a knife returned a while back and the buyer was nitpicking on things that were ridiculous. I got it right off that he couldn't afford it or found something else he wanted to spend his money on, I had no problem with that. I just wish he wouldn't have wasted my time and told me to forget it before I ever sent the knife out, I didn't have it back 2 days and it was headed to a new home and this person was very pleased with it.
Just refund the money and mark him on the never again list. As fantastic as your work is, it won't be around long.

I sure agree with these guys Chuck. He's probably not wanting to return it because of the poor reason given. It's surely more likely a monetary thing on his part. I can't afford this type of work, but if I could, my $$$ would be on the way to you.

It´s part of our business, buddy, and I think everybody has a story like this to tell.
Sed the money back and don´t think twice about it- it is a waste of time.

Hey Chuck, Don't let it get to you. That is a Beautiful Blade and when you put it back on the market it wont last long.I have to agree with everything that the guys have said here.I am currently working on a Terzoula Copy folder a customer just Had To Have!! Ivan and the rest of the guys pretty much nail it.

It looks like a beaut to me and lately I've seen some quality that are purposefully putting the detent hole out from the handle.
