Is this factory???

I'd have to guess that someone did some selective grinding so they had 'more' blade to grab for opening.

dear last,
have no fear i think not that it left the factroy like that. i have seen this modfaction done on a grinder by others tho nicer looking then this...makes the blade look bigger closed. hard to belive it will sell tho is it not ? looks to me a glent of light off of the pin.
